My very first blog award given by the awesome Jules of Julie's Jottings. Thank you Jules! I'm very honored and it made my day! I've always had an affinity with her because I feel like we're going through many of the same things right now (from what I read on her blog). Check out her blog!Rules:

7 things about me that people might not know:
1. I was in a sorority in college.
2. I had one of my wisdom teeth pulled out. It has been replaced by a false gold one and I've had it since the seventh grade.
3. I was born in the Philippines and lived there for the first nine years of my life.
4. I don't have a driver's license and I've been driving illegally to work out of necessity.
5. My favorite cartoon show of all time is Marc Brown's Arthur on PBS. I still watch it quite frequently.
6. My first real job (and hardest) ever was for the Maui Pineapple Company. I was out in the dusty field under the hot sun for eight hours, five days a week for minimum wage picking pineapples. I don't know why I did it for 2 consecutive summers, but everything I've done since then wasn't nearly as hard.
7. I sing in the shower.
And here is where I break the award rules (I'm sorry!). I realize just now that I can't nominate seven bloggers because I don't read that many blogs regularly. The ones I do follow & read already have this award and it wouldn't be fair to give it to them again. I think the purpose of this is for readers of one blog discover new blogs nominated through this award. While I'm writing this post, I have another window open to 20sb to look for new reading materials. For now, I'm not going to nominate (I hope that's okay?) anyone now but I will soon.

The picking pineapple work sounds really hard but I think somehow it can shape you, since you said your jobs after that aren't as hard :)
