I've been watching this new show by the CW since it premiered and I really like it. It's acting is sort of like Gilmore Girls and a nice new family drama to tune in to every week as I'm not that into shows like Vampire Diaries or Gossip Girl. For those who don't know the story line:Lux has been in foster care all her life. She wants to get emancipated so she goes off looking for her birth parents. She found her dad, Baze, first and he is starting up his bar. He is a hang loose sort of guy and the opposite of Cate (played by the actress in Roswell), Lux's birth mom who is a radio DJ of a popular morning show that she hosts with her fiance. Cate, who was a nerd, had Lux in high school after a one night stand with Baze, who was a jock. She didn't tell him that she was pregnant and gave Lux up for adoption.
Both Cate and Baze ended up taking the news of a long lost daughter well and decided to take her in and give her a family which was good because Lux ended up not getting emancipated and was put into temporary custody with Cate instead.
Sorry, not very good with summarazing stuff but just google it and watch the show because it's pretty good. Anyway, I was watching it last night and realized Cate is not a very likable character. You'd think she would be like Lorelei but she's the most unsympathetic character in the show. My favorite characters in the show are Lux and Baze. All in all, great new show... better than what's on this season anyway.

My friend is addicted to this show, too. I might just have to check it out. I kind of can't wait for the olympics to be over so we can get back to regular scheduled programming! Oh, and I really want to watch that new show Lauren Graham is in, Parenthood, I think?
I guess this is not yet available in the Philippines...or is it? I dunno. Who's the actor who played Blaze? Is he, by chance, Mark Ruffalo? I so love him!
@vicky yup. i heard about parenthood. looks interesting and i might watch it too :)
@jei it's fairly new so i don't think it's available on the PI yet. he's not mark ruffalo but they look alike (i love mark too!). he is kristopher polaha.
